STUDY · ten teardowns

DJI Teardown Archive

From a 249 g Mini to a 3,995 g cinema drone: ten airframes rebuilt procedurally from four templates — folding quad, ducted shell, cinema quad and panoramic flagship. Drag to orbit, pull the slider, and take them apart layer by layer.

Ten models, one system

Explosion, material filtering, labels and focus are one codebase; switching airframes only swaps geometry and copy, disposing the old geometry, materials and canvas textures first, then normalising the new model to the display width.

Built procedurally

Folding arms, ducts, triple and dual lens arrays, PCB traces and battery labels are runtime geometry and canvas textures — no models or texture files are loaded.
